Happy Dancing!

finally got it finished.... label and all.... and the quilt is in the mail!

The baby is the first grandchild of dear friends. Their children grew up with my children. They are like my own.

Dad is a jet pilot for the USAF.... so the pattern (once I saw it) was easy to choose!

You can see it in my webshots album... in Children's quilts. It's the first one!

Kate, I'm so envious of that little baby! It's a perfect choice of pattern, and so nicely done. I like everything about it: the pattern, the fabrics and the overall effect. Just wonderful. (I had a very plane-orientated childhood.) . In message , Kate G. writes

I like it! Lucky baby. The colours are lovely, and I love the fat little planes.

Will remember this if I ever get grandchildren (DSIL airline pilot).

OOO -- I especially like that sparkly fabric you used for the airplane bodies :-). What a *really* cute quilt. I'm sure the baby AND the parents will be thrilled with it. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Kate, that is a beauty! I envy Michael his first quilt. BTW, the machine quilting looks very soft and scrumptious. Did you do it yourself?
