Hello from Dallas!

Just thought I'd let y'all know that I made it to Dallas just fine (flapped really hard and the flight only took an hour). So far nothing exciting going on, other than stepping off a curb wrong at the airport and screwing up my knee. It should be fine though.

If anyone needs to get in touch with me, you can either email me at my normal email address (the rowanmichaels one), or contact me here (if I remember to check in).

Talk at y'all later! Tigg (still wondering why light switches in Texas are over half way up the wall).

The only reason I can think that the light switches would be so high up on the wall is because the ALP (Association of Little People) haven't sued the state of Texas for such carelessness, because even the Little People can probably reach the switches there - after all, everything's bigger in Texas!

Well, I lived in San Antonio when I was 5. I couldn't reach the light switches and Dad built me a box so I could carry it around when I needed to, instead of having to wake Mom up because I had to pee (silly thing, that). Still have the box, didn't think I'd need it when I finished growing but I do still use it all these years later (didn't grow that much I guess). So, as to the light switches, some of them in my friend's house are at a normal level, some of them seem to be higher than normal (shoulder height maybe, at least on me (I'm

5').). Just seems odd to me that they are that high.

As to the steel toed cowboy boots, not yet. Gonna look for some though. :) And didn't come in October because well, it was hard enough to wait the 2 months I waited after the tickets were purchased. Houston isn't that close to Dallas and it's not like I'm down here spending lots of money. I'm actually not doing much different than when I'm at home, only I get dressed near everyday (had a lazy day yesterday and didn't), do get to drive about a bit (I know where the local Wally World is and the video store...oh, and even got on the freeway to go to drop something off where my friend works). Trina has tomorrow and Monday off, so we will have 4 days of quality time before I fly out on Tuesday morning. The weather finally warmed up (almost too hot now) and it is really pretty out. I've learned sign language for the dog (very pretty half dalmation, half Australian shepherd mix who can hear some sounds in a certain range but not much), and get to boss the kids about a bit (no, not really. I think Jordan, the oldest, thought I'd be a push over but I do make him do his chores when he gets home from school. Zayne is 5 and ever so cute, and the oh, so efficient alarm clock when I don't want to wake up.). Have played a teeny bit of WoW, but will do more of that when I get home. The computer should fit in the carry on bag. Will just have to wait until I can get a monitor for it though (Sorry, Paulette...will still have to wait a bit).

Anyway, life is fun in Texas but I do miss home and the Monkey (who, last I checked, was having a blast at the kennel. I imagine she will have a pink spot on her nose again from trying to see who is in the run next to hers. She rubs the black off doing that.). Mom was working on another quilt when I talked to her last. I think she misses my frequent phone calls, but she may find the silence blissful. :)

Hugs to y'all! Tigg
