How DUMB are you? not OT

I've been asked to warn you that there's a scam going round in the form of an email with a *special* offer of 2 years of Fons & Porter magazine for only $ 71.00. Now. Really! Fons & Porter, when contacted say that it is a scam and not to send money to those guys. Anybody here dumb enough to pay $71 for a 2 year subscription? Naaaah. I think not. $71 would buy a nice stack of stash, or thread, at least 100 good needles, . . . . might even pay for a cleaning lady for a few hours. Polly

Geez, Polly, I'm thinking you're being way to hard here. Divide that $71 in half and you'll see that you'd be getting a bargain paying (short pause while I do the math) of only $35.50 per year! If you only get one a one year subscription it's like getting $35.50 for free!
