Its in the Washer

Well Ive just finished another Raggy Quilt and its in the washer getting all raggy. Im so glad its done as I hate snipping all those seams. The quilt is for my sister who is moving house on Friday so it will be for her new bedroom. I used Thimbleberries Fireside Flannels so it should be nice and snuggly.

As soon as its out of the dryer I'll post a piccy

I got some bright flannel from ebay and plan on using them to make a Raggy Quilt, but the first time I saw the pattern the seams weren't snipped and the second time I saw it they were snipped. Has any one seen it done both ways and have comments an the effects ?

I'd think if you didn't snip them you'd end up with lots of LONG threads in the filter instead of a bunch of short ones, and it would take longer to get a nice raggy look.

Snip them almost to the seam allowance every half inch or so and if you haven't edge stitched the edges, stitch about a half inch in and clip to that too. Faye in CO
