Laurel Burch

I just got word from a friend that Laurel Burch died. She had a disease called osteopetrosis, which was the cause. So sad

She was a carefree spirit wrapped in a demanding physical body. We will miss her.

May she be at peace, to run through the fields of Spirit with her felines, dogs and horses around her, her womenfolk in step alongside her.

Oh, that is sad. Thank you for letting us know.

I've been a Laurel Burch fan since discovering her greeting cards in the mid 90s. I remember discovering a gift shop full of her stuff in San Diego in 1997. I have several of her fabrics, and am currently working on a piece that includes two of them. I think there was supposed to be a new line of cat fabrics out this fall.
