There are great classes at Empty Spools in Asilomar, which is in Pacific Grove, Ca. I know there are retreats all around the country. It may take some research. You could ask at your local quilt shop too.

There are quilting retreats at Needle in a Haystack in Findley Lake, NY. Do a search. It's easy to find

Wow, I didn't even know there was a shop in Findley Lake! I'm not a skier, and I live to the other side getting to Brushwood. We pass through there once in a blue moon going to or from Corry PA (DH has a fair few people there).
