Machine Embroidery Site Question

Hi everyone,

I have not done much in the way of using my machine embroidery unit since I moved last year. Today I went to a site I loved which would show me all sites that had free embroidery patterns to download for my machine from lots of different site. Unfortunately, the site seems to no longer exist, or I am putting in a wrong name. It was search4embroidies.com Does anyone know if they changed their site name or if I am doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance Debbi in SO CA

Debbi,

What kind of machine? I'd be interested in such a site myself. We have a Bernina.

I have the Viking Designer II, but the site was for all machines.

I search for free embroidery on sites periodically when I can stand it; it's usually a hit/miss proposition, and I've found very very few that I've actually been interested in. Have you tried asking on the embroidery group(s)?

How strange that I just sat down to read the group----after unsuccessfully trying to reach that site. I've used it for years, and all of a sudden it's unavailable. I hope it's just a glitch, and will be back. It was a most helpful site. Gen

FWIW, I just tried it along with a problem diagnosis that returned a message saying that the host server may be down which may or may not be true but that's what it said I'm going to go get some more coffee right now seeya all later...

I tried to respond yesterday, but my reply never showed up. So, I'll try again ...

I have not been able to contact that site for at least a year now. Even before they closed, it appeared to me that they were not keeping the site up to date.

I have not been able to find a similar site, so I just google for each item for which I am searching.

Thanks, that is what I have been doing. Looking for a tiny free shamrock to use on a label for a charity quilt.

I happened across a site that I've never used before that allows you to download 3 free designs per week. Select the design to get details, such as size, before you download them.

I have used it a lot in the past when my machine was working, well, actually more old computer. I have also bought some of the design packages with no problems, easy precessing.
