My Raggy cat crossed Rainbow Bridge

Yesterday DH and I let our 19 year old cat go to Kitty Heaven. RIP Raggy. She had had diabetes for over 6 years, serious arthritis in her legs and back, thyroid problems, and maligant cancer. Even with all these things wrong, she was still a wonderful companion and making the right decision was extremely difficult. Love your fur friends while you can. This is the first time in over 40 years that we have been without a fur friend and it's going to take some getting used to. Right now I have absolutely no plans to get another but who knows, the time might come. Donna in Bellevue

Oh Donna, I'm so sorry. I know how much you both loved her, and how much she loved you. I'm sure there's a huge hole in your hearts now. Trust that it will heal with time. We're down to one now, and when he goes, we've said there will be no more. I've had a cat since I was 10 years old. Don't know if I can live without one. Hugs to you both. Gen

I'm so sorry Donna. 19 years is a good go for a cat lucky enough to find a good home like yours. Will give all the kitties here an extra hug in memory of your dearest Raggy. RIP

Big hugs to you, Taria

ps- you know it doesn't take plans to get another cat. If it is meant to be they find us.

Donna, I'm so sorry for your loss. You're right -- making these decisions is never easy, but we do it because we love our furkids.

Know that letting her go is the greatest act of love you could give her - not that knowing that helps the hurt much. As best you can, try to keep her happy healthy times close in your heart. So very sorry, Polly

She left paw prints on your heart which will never fade. She knew you loved her as she loved you.

I will give my two babies extra hugs.
