need help with article from QNM

My DS is getting married on Friday night. Instead of a traditional guest book, they are having guests sign a fabric block...4 inch finished square with snowball corners in red...cute! I remember that there was an article in a recent QNM about doing these guestbook quilts and it had a nicely worded explanation for the guests that could be placed at the guestbook table. As usual, I cannot find it now that I need it and the website was no help. Does anyone remember this article? If so, can you point me in the right direction to locate it.

TIA

Nothing like waiting until the last minute!!

Judy, how recent do you think this was? I will be happy to sit myself down and browse through some magazines. I have about 2 years worth of QNM. While I could probably look at them all again, I would like to narrow the search if possible :-)

It has appeared in 2008-09....late 2008 because they got engaged in November and I remember thinking that I needed to save this copy...not luck with the archives and I skimmed the 2009 issues with no luck.

I found it....March/April Quiltmaker...now if I can just find the magazine. Thanks for the offer to help. It showed up when I switched the title to search from QNM to Quiltmaker....wedding stresses are making me crazy!!!!

Got that one! I think that the part you are asking for is:

"Using one of the pens provided, please sign your name on a green rectangle by writing inside the blue box. If you'd like, do a trial run on the large piece marked 'practice here'."

I can copy and mail the entire article to you if you would like (I love to keep my magazines or I would offer that.)

The magic word in your search is: memory. I couldn't get the @#$! Netflex or something ad to move off the list but it's there. Polly
