Need Help with Quilting website

Hi, it's me again, only this time I have good news. First I would like to thank everyone for the encouragement and help with my dilemma with the Graham Enterprise website. I heard from Pay Pal yesterday and they decided in my favor and have already credited my account. I was just waiting to see what they would do on the 15th of Oct (that was the deadline for Graham to answer) before I mailed the order form to the address that Bev had led me to. I guess it pays in the long run to be stubborn. I kept stewing over it until my DH finally told me to forget it, but I wouldn't. I think when you get my age (70 & just this month) one gets tired of just letting things go when you know you are right. Hope this makes sense. Thanks again everyone. Now I can get back to my quilting - I have another Great-grandbaby on the way, we have one Great-grandson 18 months old and such a joy.

Good for you, it's good for everyone else too, as it's letting things go that means companies don't change!

PayPal does eventually come through. The problem I had with them was the length of time it took and the fact that they don't keep you updated on the status.

I also was disappointed because my daughter fell in love with the cat pattern and I wasn't able to get it.

The unfortunate part is that that Graham website is being praised on some Yahoo Groups. Apparently she is choosey about who she responds to. Some people get service; some people don't. I got service after I used USPS to send the order form with my receipt from PayPal. I got the pattern with no comment or apology after 3 months. I do love her appliqué designs. Too bad she so lousy at the business side of things. I'll just stick with her freebies.

Yes, Kay I agree with you.about not needing the public's support, I guess she has more than she can take care of on the Yahoo Group. You can Google quilting sites and hers comes up, so she's still advertising. I guess PayPal is getting used to everyone's complaints, as they refunded my money quickly. Most of the complaints on the forum is the yearly membership, they pay and don't receive their password for months. She really doesn't give quilting sites a good reputation. Thank goodness they are not like her, she is the first website that I have ever had trouble with. And what I wonder is if it doesn't smack of fraud? When one takes your money and does not follow through with what you purchased i.e. a pattern or yearly dues, that is dishonest. Wanda M.
