Need Quilting Ideas... HELP!

I'm finishing up a Warm Wishes baby quilt and I am at a loss as how to finish the quilting on it.

You can see an example of the Warm Wishes pattern here: \

Mine is done with a Deep Purple - Yellow - Bright Orange block -- and a Jungle Print that reads Green as the Print block. (It is from the Silly Safari collection -- like this:

So far -- I did an Stitch in the Ditch around the big print block... and around the tri-color stripe block--- as well as between the colors in the stripe. That gives me a good basic quilting grid. But this batting recommends every 2-4 inches for quilting.

And since it is a baby quilt I hope will be used -- it will likely be washed often -- so I really need to stabilize that batting.

So please give me some ideas that won't detract from the jungle print... but will add to the overall quilt.

Thanks

PS -- This is why I have my long arm quilter on speed dial! But I thought I'd try this one myself! I feel at such a loss to know what to do! Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Polly: We tend to use what is available, if it is of good quality! One was a taupe flower print that was surprisingly attractive with green, cream, and brown bars. Several QoV have featured Patriotic American prints, so the bars were red, white, and blue of course. I have a fantastic seashell print of shades of blue and green, with a bit of purple. I will ask the group if they want to add this one to the roster. We have so many ideas I don't know if it will make the cut! ;)

Do you want to know our cutting dimensions?

No, thank you. If you will pardon the expression, I already have that one 'down Pat'. Bwaaaaaaahaha. Polly°

In the tri color blocks, I'd look at pictures of hothouse/tropical/ exotic flowers and use one of them for a basis to free motion flowers.
