New pics - 'old' projects!

Some of you have been asking to see what the church quilt is about that I have been working on: the pieces are coming together when the weather co-operates with me and I can sew. I have added an extra page to my recorded quilted projects site and I will update as the work continues - the 'fun' stuff is next with the stained glass applique centre panel - I still haven't decided on the background method for it yet though. Enjoy! Jennifer in Ottawa

This is so funny. My cat Tigger is also a left shoulder cat. He'll sit happily on my left should for as long as I can hold him. If I try to put him, or move him, to the right should, he jumps off!!!

I, too, enjoyed looking at your quilts Jennifer. Yet again those birds are awe-inspiring. I didn't see the quilting last time. I am about to do an eagle! so the feather quilting was encouraging to me - as it really looked so real. . In article , Polly Esther writes

Group: rec.crafts.textiles.quilting Date: Thu, Jul 10, 2003, 2:36pm (EDT-1) From: snipped-for-privacy@garbage.mindspring.com (Polly=A0Esther) I enjoyed seeing the beauties - and didn't know that you made teddy bears too. Hadn't heard of a left-shoulder kitty but I certainly wouldn't dare to argue with a feline. They know best. Polly

------- Hi Polly, yes, I make teddy bears too though not as often, any more - I have problems working with the polyester (no pun intended!) stuffing. Katie has left scratches and claw marks on my left shoulder - fighting to stay there while I am working. She won't even entertain the idea of the right shoulder at all - I'd love to know where this habit of hers started - she was already 2yrs old (they said at the humane society) when I brought her home. Thank you Pat - maybe Tigger and Katie are related in some other life? She is certainly stubborn about having that shoulder to perch upon-----I'm glad that you still like Mum's pigeons. Jennifer in Ottawa
