tutor was Australian, Lisa Walton of Sydney. Her website isdyedheaven.com It was great fun and a wonderful technique of making your own fantasy fabric using threads, ribbons, sparkly fabrics and wash-away fuseable stuff. I shall definitely use that technique in some of my future work! I made the piece sampler size, and may use it as a pretty table topper. I also accomplished the technique many of you smart quilters already know -- decorative threads in the bobbin and quilting the reverse. Not so scary after all .
