to get rid of a computer virus called X-Max.net? It is some kind of a redirection nasty & DH can't get rid of it:-( Any help would be greatly appreciated.

wow, new one to me too, nana. i did a google on 'X-Max.net virus' to see what it was. by the looks of it you cant use the google or yahoo search engine to figure this out as that is just what the virus affects, any search thru those two search engines sends your browser off on a tangent to somewhere else, really annoying in the extreme i'll bet.

Thanks so much Jeanne. DH found this one & it will remove it at a cost:-( I have found that I can search with Dogpile. I'll try to be patient Thanks again. I also can't get any MS updates.
