You still here? (((SYMPATHY is my Mom's job--she is GOOD at it)))

Dr update...not what I expected : ( Am on Tylenol 4 on a steady basis for this coming month....for the neck/shoulder/elbow/hands/dropping things/numb toes....and in a couple of weeks will have cortisone shots in my neck/spine as I have 2 herniated discs C-6 and C-7..and Ankylosing Spondylitis(didn't SHOW in teh blood test--but it did in the x-rays). Dr thinks the shots will reduce the inflammation and the pressure. In the meantime, I don't LIFT or carry--and not do anything that I could 'drop and break' thus the paper plates. I can still 'do' but be choosy in what I do. HHHHMmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Butterfly (DD is spending the rest of the day with me to WATCH for 'reactions' to the T4--yes....I have been on it before)

Feel better soon! Do what the dr says and watch what you "do". Don't overdo. {{{{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}}}}}} winging your way! The DH has a herniated disc at T4, so I know from whence you speak.

Oooooo, Butterfly! I had a herniated disk (just one!) once, and it was agony! Mine was a little higher in the neck than yours, and I was lucky that physical therapy seems to have taken care of most of the problem. I still get sore when the weather changes or when I overdo, but I can live with that. I hope your outcome is as good -- at least -- as mine was. :)

Does heat help? cold? heat and cold? having the Pool boy come over every hour and wiggle your toes while smiling beguilingly up at you?

That means you can still post. If you drop a finger on a wrong key three times then you meant to do it right? It's a design decision!

Have you ever tried to get enough spit in your mouth so that when you open your mouth, a bubble forms? Hmmm maybe DD wouldn't appreciate the humor of you doing that right now.

When I heard there was a greater need for them at Butterflys I broke all my dishes and turned the bits into mosaic on the patio furniture.. so Im calling ups and having the package redirected to Butterflys house. Diana ps, I asked ups to punch some holes in the box and run them in a couple cans of ravioli and a jug of hawaiian punch. Their reply... um.. more holes?? heehee
