Hi All, wow, so many posts to catch up on! Have only been away for just over a week!!! So hugs and best wishes to all that need them.
We went to see the Atlantic (West coast France), haven't seen if for 2 years! I grew up 10 mins walk away from the Atlantic in the UK. It was sooooooooo good to sea! The smell, the sound and the waves, just wonderful. It isn't going to be another 2 years before I see it again if I can help it. We went in our camper and parked in a carpark in the dunes, with about a 100 other vans - it was wonderful, families of all ages having fun. It was quiet at night, no trouble or noise, just wonderful. It only cost 9 euros a night (about 6$, I think) and we had electricity and water included! It took about 3 hours to get there, although we stopped off at Lourdes on the way.
I'm not particularly religious, but wanted to feel the atmosphere of the place - very, very moving. We were thankful that we were there as tourists and not hoping for that illusive miracle. We said a prayer and lit a candle for all our friends - so that includes all of you that we know here.
Anyway, hugs to all, happy quilting as always
