OT: Book Recommendation

A new acquaintance loaned me a book she just finished reading. The title is "the Guernsey Literary & Potato Peel Pie Society" by Mary Ann Shafer & Annie Barrows. It is absolutely delightful. I'm only a third of the way thru it, but I know it's one book, I'm going to hate seeing the end of. It's just recently been published, but I would think the libraries might have it. The book is written in letters, exchanged with various characters. I didn't think I'd be able to really get to know the characters, but the authors do an amazing job of making them so real!

Enjoy!

I just ordered this for my library and have been debating whether or not to bring it home. Thanks for the recommendation.

I'm sure you will enjoy it. Turns out the author lives nearby me & has several speaking engagements close enough by that I can go hear her speak. Looking forward to a "book report".
