OT: Coffee connoisseurs

Santa brought me a Keurig individual cup coffee-maker. If any of you are familiar -- where is the best place online to purchase your coffee -- and what flavor(s) are your favorites?

I have a friend who works for a demo company and she demos the Keurig at the local Macy's. As a result, I have gotten to taste quite a few of the coffees. Personally, I like the French Vanilla, Chai Tea and the Toffee. She gets to keep the coffee that isn't used during the demo so she hasn't had to buy much but I *think* she gets it at the local Costco. That doesn't help you much for online sources, sorry. I WANT one of those machines but it's just one more thing I will have to move back to Lizard Land so I told Santa to wait until next Christmas. OH -- the Cocoa is also very good, just in case you want to give it a try :-). CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Thanks -- I didn't even think about CostCo -- and I have one just 3 miles from my front door. I'll have to give them a look!

Merry Christmas

My favorite coffee is the Chocolate Raspberry from Smith's or Kroger's. Online I like to purchase from CoffeeAM. There my favorite flavor is Mistletoe Joe. Rainforest Nut is a great blend, but I can't remember where I tend to order that from.

Hummmm, just realized I never got my IE bookmarks back from the hard drive failure. That's where all my coffee bookmarks are. So I might be back later with a list.

Regular coffee won't *easily* work with the Keurig. It uses little prepackaged tubs of coffee grounds -- very neat and tidy. IIRC, you can get a little reusable tub that you fill with your own ground coffee. CiaoMeow >^;;^<

Those things seem awfully wasteful when they don't even want to use plastic bags at the grocery store. Sure is good coffee though. Sis has used the 'pods' for years. Taria

Another retail source is Kohl's. Especially when they are having sales. Just picked up some for my Dad. Got him the breakfast blend. Although I think one of his faves is the Dark Roast. Online, if I'm not mistaken, Amazon always has some good deals.

I'm not a fan of flavored coffees, but I like a nice strong one. Amazon has a big selection and their prices aren't too bad. I like the fact that they send two boxes at a time, so it's easy to stock up. When I buy one box at a time with coupons from Kohl's or Bed bath and beyond, it seems like I'm running to get more all the time. I know....doesn't make much sense. Also Amazon has a program where they will automatically send a box at a time frame you specify until you tell them otherwise. If I remember, it was even a little bit cheaper. But don't hold me to that. There are a couple brands that are quite pricey..."Green Mountain"??? Enjoy your coffeemaker! I find I drink less coffee, enjoy it more and waste a lot less than I used to. So even though I feel guilting about throwing away the pods, it might be a draw. DH doesn't like strong coffee, so he usually uses my dark roast pod after I brew one. KJ

I'm sorry -- didn't know about that. Sorry I tempted you with other "exotics." The good thing about this thread is that I did find my IE coffee bookmarks. Rainforest Nut, here I come!!

I'm in Texas, and they are sold in all the grocery stores, Wal-Mart, Target, and even Bed Bath & Beyond. A friend of ours has one - his wife doesn't drink coffee or tea - and he buys his flavors at their grocery store.
