My DHs brother died today after 1 long year of illness. A benign tumour that just kept growing until it killed him. It has been removed one, but it grew back much more vigorously that at first. He is at peace now, thank God. It is such a relief for his partner and brothers but so sad for us all.
I am sad and happy (If one can be) because today was my 40th wedding anniversary and Kevin (DHs brother) was really pleased we had reached that milestone. It will be lovely to remember him on this day.
We will hold you all close in our hearts and up in our prayers, Di. Sending hugs too and wishing we were close enough to hug and comfort you. So very sorry, Polly
