OT- DB in USA

My big bro left Oz for US last Wed. I'm not sure of his itinerary - he goes over for a visit this time every year. He is right into car racing so visits his 'petrolhead' mates. Last year he did the coast to coast drive, it took me ages to look at all his photos. I'm looking forward to this years lot. So if you see a tall, heavy dark haired Aussie bloke called Bernie anywhere, be kind to him please and give him my love.

He's welcome for dinner if he gets anywhere near WI!

Curly,

I am only 5 miles from the beach here in SO CA, more than welcome to stop by. If he is an older, rich, single gentleman who can afford to keep me supplied with plenty of stash, I am also single!

Oooh what a lucky guy! I wonder if the mental pic I have of him would be accurate?

Sorry, married 3 sons (near grown)at home. I think it's his annual escape.Wouldn't you know it, his phone doesn't work outside Oz. I'll try and find out where he's headed this time.

Yeah, I'd luv to go with him! Fat chance! Maybe I can find out his plans in advance in future and see how they tee up with Quilt Shows, Quilt Shops, etc. Now thats got me thinking......some benefits may be gained here for a li'l sis. Wish I could see your mental pics, I'd be biased of course.

Where do I find a list of US States and their abbreviations? DB was heading for Sacramento, then, who knows? Also I'll try and get him interested in quilting (haha), so I at least get to see photos of more than cars and barns(they're nice - but I think his mate has a fetish).

This is a good site for those outside of the US who got the directory and may not know what the abbrevs are.

Thanks.

Actually, *we* should write out our states/provinces/territories/nations and not leave the reader guessing! I often abbreviate in signature, but my posting name is spelled out so that answers any inquiry. PAT in Virginia AKA: PAT in VA/USA

PS: WI = Wisc>

The abbreviations for airports drives me crazy! Try some of those. Some don't even make sense! :-)
