OT donation of contact lenses?

Going to have my eyes made bionic Wednesday. Cataracts and astigmatism and mileage have caught up with me. I've been wearing disposable contact lenses and will have quite a few left that I would love to give to anyone who could use them. Does anyone know where to ask? Seems like the Lion's Club used to collect eye glasses; don't know about unused contact lenses. It would hurt my frugal little heart to toss them away. Polly Esther

Don't know the answer to your question, Polly. Sorry. (Except, perhaps, your optician would know if one of his patients could do with them?) But, good luck on Wednesday anyway, and I hope everything goes just fine. . In message , Polly Esther writes

Polly, I have no answer to your question, but I'm wishing you the very best for your surgery. I know it's fairly routine surgery these days, and everyone I know who's had it has come through with flying colors. :)
