I posted about this yesterday via Google - don't see the message now that I've managed to get 'real' newsreader service with my new 'fios' service.......

I bought one of these irons a couple of years ago after seeing a similar demo and both a home and a quilt show. Have to say, I really like it. You MUST use distilled water with it, however, NOT tap water. TONS of steam from this iron. I also have a Rowenta that I use daily (yes - daily, ironing my clothes for work each day) but was sure to read beforehand that the Rowenta REQUIRED TAP WATER - NOT distilled water. It seems to make a tremendous difference if the device was designed to use distilled water or not and what you feed it!

DD mention off hand the other day that she would like to learn to sew so she could make a skirt.

oooooohhhhhhh, I've waited to hear those words her whole life.

I don't want to scare her off, so I've held off on trying to shove stuff onto her. The sewing machine I've been saving. Fabric, thimbles, pins and needles.

She's like a tiny squirrel who has come to see what I have in my hand. Any sudden movement and she'll bolt.
