And was it good. Mashed taters, GRAVY and green beans with bacon and onions. Sweet tea and hot rolls.

It was really good and I wish I had some more. All I have left is 2 chicken legs and some green beans.
I only had baking potatoes which do not make the best mashed, but other than that it was perfect.
My daughter kept saying, "but how do you know it's DONE?" You just know. You can see the chicken leg bone. You just KNOW.
It was almost worth the mess I made.
It's snowing here today. We have about 6" of sleet on the ground (Think really hard snow - you can walk on it instead of thru it), about 1/4" of ice on the trees and it's snowing hard. Oh, plus the sun is shining. Strange weather.
They cancelled my guild workshop for today and the meeting for tonight. First time (I think) that a meeting has been cancelled in many years.
