OT: Idiot sightings

i'm sure i've come across a couple of those, most recently at the airport check-in, lol. i think they walk among themselves and reproduce, hence the idiot factor....inbreeding. shrug, jeanne

Charlotte's sightings reminded me of a sewing session with one of our daughters - a smart girl, excellent in algebra, geometry, physics and calculus. The pattern instructions directed trimming a 5/8" seam to 1/4". "Ridiculous" said she. "Anybody knows that can't be done". Ah well. Polly

Hey All

I stopped at the local McDonalds for coffee for my neighbor and I. We were going to the casino. Two senior coffees cost 86 cents. I handed the cashier the exact change. She looked at me like I was an idiot and asked " Is this cash". I came back with a question of my own. "Don't you know what money is". Then she asked would you like a receipt. DUH..... Well yea. I paid for a receipt...... had to call for the manager to get the coffee.

Neighbour had Jane Brown's phone number but wanted to know if I knew her address as she wanted to write a note to her. I suggested it would be in the phone book, but got the reply "I've looked in there but there are two J Browns and I don't know which is the right one"

I suggested it would be the one of the two who had the right telephone number. After several minutes of explaining this in different ways (how many ways are there?!) I gave up, looked up Jane Brown's phone number in my notebook, looked up J Brown in the phone book and chose the one with the correct 'phone number, and relayed this to neighbour, whose thanks were profuse!

. . . . . . and they vote too!!!!!!!

Vote? VOTE? If that were our only worry. They run for office and get elected. Polly
