OT: Jack in the Box

This is really off topic but it's gotten me so mad I'm about to burst.

Has anyone besides myself seen the new commercial put out by JB? Where every one strips their cloths off ....and even in the end they show Jack walking off and even a baby throws clothes on him.

I find this so disgusting. I will never buy again at JB until they take this ad of the tube.

Why is it so acceptable that people can just stripped their clothes off any ole where? The commercial is so tasteless....the people in the commercial are suppose to be the so called "normal" people....

ARGH

Can't even write about it.

We don't have them around here, so I'm spared those tactless commercials. The best thing to do is write or email the company and tell them how mad you are and that you'll be boycotting them. Believe me, I"ve done this myself and it does work! Money is always the bottom line and if they think they'll loose a few dollars, things will change! Another Donna in WI

Sounds awful! And how about that Vlasic pickle commercial that attempts to equate noise with crunchiness and thus with taste? That little girls eats WITH HER MOUTH OPEN! Until that commercial is removed I have purchased my last Vlasic pickle.

You are so right. I received an email from the quite conservative place where I buy most of my clothes. They were hysterically touting that the wife of an elected official was pictured in a magazine wearing one of their Hootchie Mama productions. I (somewhat) calmly answered them that I was not a member of her fan club and was disappointed in her choice of appropriate wear. I received a nice discount on my next purchase and their next email acknowledged that they appreciated being the standard for tasteful clothing. I don't expect to kill the Hootchie Mama inclination (maybe the newer term is 's**nk'). Money talks. But only if you speak up. Down off of my soap box now. Polly

too very tired to figure out who said what, think it was Donna, but one of us said>We don't have them around here, so I'm spared those tactless commercials. much looking forward to their reply also. i dont know who they employ to write some ads nowdays but they often seem written for the lowest common denomitor in society. maybe that is their marketing target? those who spend more of their maybe not so hard earned dollars at their diners. those folks who work hard for their dollars perhaps have better taste in food and fashion. who knows. j.
