OT: Keep your fingers crossed for me.

We haven't had scuba classes for several weeks now due to weather, instructor's travel etc. Class, including pool time, again tonight and I am really apprehensive about it for some unknown reason.

Please keep your fingers crossed for me tonight.

Maureen, class may be making me nervous, but I get to leave for retreat tomorrow. What a way to relax.

I packed last night, but have already remembered stuff I'd forgotten. Have a long list of things to gather up tomorrow morning already.

Try not to stress out about the scuba classes. It's not for everybody, so if it doesn't work out for you, don't think of it as a failure! I know lots of people who weren't comfortable with scuba, but love snorkeling & I know several people, my husband for one, who can find as much enjoyment snorkeling as he can diving. My problem with diving is that I have no fear, which scares the heck out of my DH. Fortunately, we don't go often!

I remember you were having trouble with your mask - I hope that is resolved by now & if not, make sure your instructor is aware & gets you fitted properly!

Thinks did go a bit better last night. We got me a bit more properly weighted so I didn't feel like I was sinking like a stone. We did determine that my mask is not fitting properly. So Monday when I get back from the retreat David and I will go and see if we can't get one that's a bit of a better fit.

I came home last night exhausted, however. This is scuba stuff is lots of work.

Thinks did go a bit better for me last night. Determined that the mask indeed does not fit properly. And one of the instructors kept us three "girls" (me and Mother/Daughter duo) who are all struggling a bit. And the other instructor had the other six in the class. I'm still a bit nervous about this underwater stuff, but....

Will be leaving for the retreat soon. Just waiting for my friend to pick me up. (I hope she doesn't die when she sees how much I am bringing) We're planning a little S.E.X on the way, too.

Maureen

P.S. You all be good while I'm gone.
