OT More Prayers Needed

I have was bitten by a Brown Recluse Spider a few days ago. I've been to the doctor and am taking antibotics and something else that I can't think of. I would appreciate all prayers and warm thoughts for a full recovery. Thank you. Barbara in SC

Prayers coming from OK....I'm tellin' ya, this has been the worst year for spiders I remember. Someone said it has to do with all the rain we got in the early summer. I've had to really check the clothes off the clothesline because I've seen so many.

Thanks everyone, I am mostly just resting in bed, and checking the computer, and taking care of the dog. Barbara

My father was also bitten by one a couple of months ago, also in SC and is still on medicine for it. His doctor told him, it normally takes 6 to

9 months to fully recover. Sorry for the bad news. Take care of yourself.

The prayers are working as I don't feel worse than before. Don't really feel much better, but I am able to sit in my recliner and watch TV and wash & fold clothes. I'm taking it easy. Thanks so much for thinking of me. BTW DH is doing well after getting the cancer growth removed and his surgeon should dismiss his next Tuesday. Thanks for all the support. Barbara in SC

Winging their way!

I don't usually mind spiders, but that would certainly put me off for good!

Thanks to everyone for all the prayers! The spider bite and the meds really have got me feeling low. I'm grateful that I went ahead to the doctor when I did. Even he said that he was glad I came when I did to get something for this. I was told that one of these bites on the hand often meant that a finger had to taken off. This bite is on my belly. Wonder if I'll need an operation to get some of the fat sucked out? That might not be so bad! Barbara in SC

My spider bite was about 3 weeks ago. We are doing quite well but it will be a long, long time before it's totally gone. Meanwhile, Barbara, we are not going to ask how you happened to be going around with a bare belly, just might mention that you might not be on the runway at the Victoria's Secret's holiday edition. Dear Polly, have you seen the group of FAT ladies who pose on the beach in skimpy swimsuits? They also model sexy underwear for the 3X group. I think I have also seen them on one of the afternoon talk shows a few years ago. Well, just maybe I was practicing! Maybe I can use an unusual bandaid for the fashion show, made just to cover that spider bite! Care to join me? Barbara in Cold SC
