the links say it all. these 'home hacks' people are new to me, still exploring it.

that is a small representation of all many of things to make, do etc on this site. have a look and see what you find that takes your fancy.

I needed to see that screen cleaning solution. I'm sitting here typing through dots and specks on a dirty screen right now. As for the no knead bread, I can vouch for this recipe! I make it all the time and it's excellent. I can't figure out how you get a perfectly yummy loaf of bread with no kneading but it works just fine. Excellent for toast and just about anything else! Thanks for posting the links...Donna

i found that site fascinating. so much variety of things they post about. took me ages to get thru the home page full of items/links. i've saved the home page to check occasionally. reminds a big of the instructables site on a bit different level tho. glad you found some useful things there too. j.

I've been using this 'no knead' bread recipe for a couple years. I found it on the NYTimes website. Rising time is the secret. 12 hours is minimum. 18 good. It's gorgeous, delicious bread. Don't be disappointed with the first couple loafs. I've baked forever and I firmly believe that the deity of yeast requires a price that must be paid before we get perfect loaves. That price is making a specific recipe over and over just the same way until it works perfectly.
