Hi Guy, Very early (about 5:00 AM) Tuesday morning I got a call from DD. Her best friend (Louise) called to say her Dad (John) had suffered a massive stroke and was on life support. Our families are very close and I am about the only friend that Louise's Mom (Joyce) has. They took John off life support yesterday and he passed away in less than an hour. I will be going to Lizard Land late tomorrow night to stay for as long as I am needed. Please send prayers, good thoughts, positive vibes, white light or whatever you feel comfy with to help this family. John had not been feeling terribly well but there was nothing specific wrong at the time. To make matters worse, John was Steven, my DSonIL's very best friend as they were both architects and had worked together in the past. So Steven has now lost an important person in his life who has helped him immensely in his recovery and rehab after his stroke. Since I will be in Lizard Land for at least a week and more likely two weeks, I thought I might have a bit of time to get together with the Lizard Land Ladies. If any of you read this, e-mail me, OK? I have an e-mail from B'fly so I can contact her but I don't think I have anything recent from Patti. VBS -- I wanted to go visit the SMDGD but hot *this* way. DD said the poor little thing was in tears because her GrandDad John was gone and she really liked him. He was always one to tease her and tickle her and spoil her when he was around so it's probably a good thing that I will be there to do the same things -- LOL. CiaoMeow >^;;^<
