OT: Need Picture

This is another OT need here but yet again maybe not...

I'm looking for a picture, a special picture, that I can use in a quilting book for publishing. Thought I had one but it is very blurry and so won't work.

Does anyone have on their snapshots pages of a special picture that they would give permission for me to use?

Example: 25 Wedding anniverary Wedding pictures: flower girl, ring bearer etc

I can't use a picture that is to crowded, busy. I need one that focus's on one subject. A flower girl or a ring bearer would be perfect but I'll look at whatever.

If I am given permission to use a photo, the person who gave the rights to do so will get full acknowledgement in this new book.

Let me know! Some of you have already submitted pictures (QI) and I am using them...but now I need this one other picture.

If I have anything in any of my Webshots albums, you are welcome to it. Either DH or I have taken all of the photos so there's no copyright problems. Not sure if it's posted but our 25th wedding anniversary photo was taken in Fiji -- might be of interest to you. Not sure if Johnathan the bat is in that one :-)! I'd e-mail you direct but I'm not sure how to do it because I use Netscape to read the group..... CiaoMeow >^;;^<

We've got both. DW uses FF, and I use IE (and often the twain shall meet...)

(((DEM))) Just an acknowledgement? That and a half buck'll get you a cup of coffee at Apu's. A free copy of the book might be a better incentive. ;-)

dd convinced me to try firefox. tho oddly enough they use linux. her SO is a linux techno consultant/engineer/installs systems and keeps'em running efficiently. whatever that job is called. wish now i'd carried on with computer science when at uni all those decades ago. i didnt know then how big or is that little computers would become in our world. now i'd be making megabucks somewhere no doubt. and working from home in my jammys as well. oh well. j.

Yep. I had a quilt under consideration for a quilt book and the 'contract' included a free copy of the book. The author wanted to include my quilt, but the publisher cut the number of color plates for the book, and my quilt did not make the cut. I DID receive a complementary book however! Pat in Virginia
