What is AVG?

It's a free anti-virus program that does a really good job, and nothing else. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, just a few useful ones. And it doesn't interfere with other software the way Norton does.

Karen, I use AVG on the Windows installation on my Mac. My DT, who is much more knowledgeable about Windows than I'll ever be, told me to continue using 7.5, because version 8 has some serious problems; apparently more and more people on the forum for AVG are going back to

7.5. In addition, that May 31 date is incorrect; they're going to continue supporting this version until the end of December, by which time we can hope that version 8 will be much better. :)

How do I go back to 7.5?

Ummm ... I'm not exactly sure, since I didn't have to do it. But I think that you just download it from . That's where I got it, though I never had to go back to a previous version.

That looks like it! I'll just have to uninstall the new one, then download this one.
