OT: Other Great Newsgroups?

Don't forget we have men here who know what the sharp end of a rotary cutter is for, too! Stack'n'Whack, strip piecing, and the importance of our religious wars over washing are not unknown to out male members either...

A few of us RCTQer's who are in WW or just trying to be healthier formed an RCTQ only email support group. We typically give weekly updates as to how we are doing or vent or share recipes. :)

If any RCTQers are interested I can add you to the mailing rotation. :)

I dont know Kate... I can follow along with your Katisms much more easily than the sheddese. You seem to fit in better than I. Maybe its the lack of ale on my part? I think Ill stay the shedder whot stays in top posting land where the talk stays primarily in the Queens English.. 'Merkin version of course. :-) I would like to take you up on a mug of something hot in one of your fine pieces of Chinner.... Diana

JoAnn's just had patterns for 99c again. When they do, I get a bunch of the costume patterns for cheap. The last time, I specialized on undies through the ages. The knickers in times past had no crotch seam. They were sewn in the front about 6-7 inches down from the waist, and then very breezy until the tie at the back. Somewhat like a cowboy's chaps, but in cotton, not leather, and without the macho look. So getting one's knickers in a twist would have been a deal more difficult than with Victoria's Secrets. Well, the subject line did say "OT," didn't it?

I second the vote on alt.support.diet.low-carb When we finally move into our house (just waiting for the furniture to arrive, only another 10 days or so) DH and I are going back on plan. Gotta lose this baby weight soon! Michelle in Gander (formerly Michelle in Labrador)

Ours wasn't worth collapsing. We moved instead. Now we have a shed with happy spirits in it, and attached (attached to the shed, not the house) garage with a brand new cement floor, complete with hand-prints of 5 little people!

Aww! When we replace Big Shed with a new metal shed on concrete raft, it too will get handprints, if I know a small boy. It will prolly also get pus paw prints!
