Darnnit but these are soooo much fun they are totally addicting! Every time I go in WalMart I buy another three packages of 100 ft. of cotton clothesline. Next is making some bowls for my Church's Christmas Bazaar. Woohoo! An excuse to make some more bowls!

Those are really great, Leslie! I like that you've added your own creative touch to them rather than just "following the directions." Thanks for sharing your pics.

They're lovely Leslie - the latest one in particular - all those little innovations you are making to personalise them are really clever. The finishing off spiral is especially effective. Well done you! The Pooh baby quilt is so sweet. I love Pooh and friends >gSorry- I'm still using WebShots so turn off your sound before you click

There's one in every crowd and Here I am. I just have to find a practical application. So. I think you need to make one with lots of reds, greens and gold. Then (ta-dah!) you must fill it with beautiful pecans and other nuts plus a nutcracker - or with red or green napkins, or bright shiny Christmas tree balls? Then we'll move on to the purple, green and gold for Mardi Gras. For spring, we'll want some Easter eggs or perhaps just a robin's nest. Send the baskets to me to decide just what to do with them. Those are looking great Leslie. I especially like the yellow/blue one. DD finally moved out and I have been collecting stuff for her to set up a kitchen. She was unpacking the kitchen stuff and called and asked how many bowls does a kitchen need? Why, I asked her. She alleges she stopped counting at

Now the Purple is is great ( well they all are!) I love the coil on the side. Will try these when I get home. Will look for cotton washing line when over "there" next week. Lovely

Each of my bowls (smaller one includes the eight coasters) took nearly 100 ft. When I saw this on Fons & Porter's quilting show the guest said you could get about 3 med. bowls from 100 ft. I think her medium bowls and mine are a great deal apart in size!

Surely they sell the cotton clothesline 'over there' on your side, too? I can't imagine traveling halfway around the world and buying clothesline to take home??? ;-)
