My BIL found out last week that he has advanced colon cancer. He had not been sick until very recently, so this has been quite a shock to them. He is getting some chemo to try to improve the quality of life for him for a short term, but it sounds like he has a few years at best left. Please pray for him and for his wife (my sister) and family as they deal with this. They live about 8 hours from us, so we don't see them often. We did spend time with them this weekend, as the hospital where he is now is a little closer but we won't be able to be together much. Prayers and good thoughts would be much appreciated.
