OT: Prayers needed!!

My new DNiece (only about 3 1/2 days old) has been rushed to the hospital because she having trouble breathing. She was breathing heavy yesterday and today, and I guess has not been eating well today. Then she started gasping for air while they were out getting some groceries and an ambulance was called. I don't know anymore than that as this is just all happening. I know the power of this group so, if you could spare some prayers/ positive thoughts my niece, sis, BIL and my nephew could really use them right now. Thanks bunches!!!

She is doing much better, after giving us all a big scare. After doing tests for the RSV thing, Strep, and a few other things they are saying she has an unknown (and probably will remain unknown) infection. She is doing well with the meds they have given her. She is still on a bit of breathing assistance today, but it is now minimal. They are saying she may go home in a few days to a week. DNephew (big brother) is staying with us until this is all done with so DSis doesn't have to worry about keeping him entertained at the hospital, and can concentrate on the baby. Thank you all for your prayers!! They are much appreciated!!!

Ummmm, me too, Charlotte. We were holding that sweet little darling close in our hearts and prayers and are so grateful to hear that she's doing better. If you need suggestions while you're the 'entertainer', we can help. Taking bubble baths and making Rice Krispie treats comes to mind. Polly
