Sorry, I never did get around to updating yesterday. Son is doing better today. He is actually getting sleep for several hours at a time. He gets the packing removed tomorrow afternoon. Carpet people came yesterday, but were only able to lighten the blood spot where son got sick, they could not get it out. Looks like I will either be buying the owner new carpeting or having it taken out of my security deposit next year when I move.
Dad is still in the hospital. He called Mom last night to tell her that the doctor came in late again and when he did come in, the blood pressure was down to 139! Now they are just waiting for the blood thinners to leave his system so that they can do the kidney biopsy and decide how to proceed and then we can get Dad home!
Sister called to follow up on both my son and our father. She then told me that her SIL (hubby's sister) had a hip replacement yesterday. The SIL is 16 months older than I am-- makes me feel old when my peers are getting body parts replaced.
Well, time to plug in the ipod, listen to the latest Daniel Silva book I am on (A Death in Vienna) as I am trying to listen to them in order, put the leash on the QI and go for a nice walk!
