Oh, I love this! I have a water bell like that, but no hummingbirds! I even have the right plants! My neighbors have hummers. Not me. :(

I think they are too happy in my neighbor's yard. I've never seen on IRL. I guess maybe I need to make myself a hummingbird quilt.

Try a hummingbird feeder. Ours is quite busy.... there's usually hummers feeding whenever we are! Our feeder hangs from one arm of a double plant hanger and the females will frequently perch on the other arm and sit for a while. We know we've got at least 2 pairs that visit regularly.

Try planting all sorts of flowers they love too.. monarda comes to mind.. Then give them time... they might be afraid that you will ask them for a quilt. Diana

I loved watching the hummers go for my (scarlet) monarda. Didn't have such great luck with the pink ones. My husband used to dip all his tool handles in red paint and the hummers would sample every one--also the red lettering on bags of charcoal.
