OT: Update on my niece Delilah Rose

Hey, all!

Our little premie is doing WONDERFULLY, thanks to all of your positive thoughts and prayers!

When she was first born, she had an IV, an oxygen tube, and a feeding tube and needed to have ultraviolet light treatments for jaundice, as well as a very climate-controlled environment. We were quite worried.

Now all tubes are gone except for the feeding tube (she's still too small to have full suckling ability, we're told), and she's been moved to a non-climate-controlled isolette. The nurses and docs are all as pleased with her progress as is possible to be! Mama and Papa finally were able to breathe easily enough that they caught the Cardinals baseball game last night, knowing Delilah would be just fine.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I firmly believe every little thought helped this little one grow as strong as she is. She should be able to come home within the month, they're saying. I'll be sure to update everyone on that special day.

Thanks for this good news, Anastasia. I'm so happy the little one is getting on well. I had a cuddle with a chubby little one month old yesterday - such precious little lives. . In message , Anastasia Luettecke writes
