Today's 'Dear Abby' discusses sending coupons to overseas military bases. Just never crossed my mind but the military families need and enjoy the coupons from Sunday's newspapers that we usually just toss in the trash. They can even use coupons that have been expired for 2 months. And- they like to receive 'free offers' for toys etc from the cereal (and other) companies. You know - teddy bears, t-shirts and such if you send in the tokens or something from the cereal box. I know some of us have a little free time and some hardly have a minute to breathe. Just wanted you to know about the program. I hated to throw out that 'good stuff for somebody' but didn't know there was such a real way to share it. If you're interested, the website is
