OT - VICTORY

Maureen was right, as were others along the way with other things. Anyway, I can now send email. Whew! Now - what should I use as a ng reader. I really hate using google.

Can you use Mozilla Thunderbird on your new machine? I find it works splendidly for me.

Motzarella has been working well for me.

Karen, I've been using MT-NewsWatcher (one download site is here: ) for years and like it very much. It can get posts from any news service (SuperNews, Motzarella, etc.) that you use. It isn't the most modern-looking of apps, but it does the job well.

I tried it. It won't let me register my email server. Picky, picky, picky. lol

Motzarella isn't a news reader; it's a news server. The news server stores messages; the news reader allows you to access the server to read and post messages.

Right now I'm using a freeware or shareware (can't remember which) program that I downloaded from Apple's website, called Hogwasher. It took some getting used to, but works just fine.

There may be something better out there, but I've just been too lazy to look.

Sandy, what news server do I type in to get rctq. I'm in over my head on this stuff, but am finding it very educational.

Thanks, Karen, Queen of Squishies
