OT: where are my posts going?

I've commented on quite a few threads lately, but most of those comments are just not showing up. I get the nice yellow 'your post was received' notice, but I think it's lying. Is anyone else having this problem? I post via Google groups and have never had a problem before, but t his is really irritating. Please don't think I'm not interested in your comment; my comments are just floating around out there in the Inter-Net, lost and getting loster. ;)

Hi Sunny, I post through Google Groups as well. I see your posts to about 4-5 different threads at the moment. Maybe just refresh your browser. Sometimes the servers are a little slow.

Sunny,

For some reason, I never get your posts. I can only read them if someone else responds and includes your original message.

Wow, even more mysteries. Right now I hate my computer. For many reasons.

Google's had the flu for a while. I've had the same problem, then they'll all show up days later. Then there're those mysterious posts that disappear as soon as someone reads or responds to them - like the one that caught me a couple weeks ago. They're showing up on other groups too, so I'm guessing Google is experienceing some security problems. Nothing to do from the user end but wait it out.

It's also possible that your ISP is the problem. I'm not enough of a geek to dx the difference.

Gosh, I get only about 15 or so a day. I check in and read, but don't post a lot. Yep, using Google Groups also.

Me, too, Ginger. Ten to fifteen posts a day on here. Remember years ago when there were so many posts you had to pick and choose which threads to follow because there were so very many? I wonder if everybody is going to Facebook. That's been discussed on my arthritis support ng- which is nearly dead after having been very active over the past many, many years.

Sad. I love my ngs.

I thought it was just me! I was wondering where everyone was.
