very cool! I used to know all the letters for the elements, or at least be able to work it out by the properties I knew an element in that column should have, but not having used it in 10 years is showing, but my curiosity is still there, I couldn't resist looking up a few that I didn't remember!

HUH!, interesting..........and here I always thought a periodic table was just something you had to shovel all the piled up junk off of for the periodic holiday family dinners instead of dining solo on a wobbly TV tray.

Neat. But my periodic table coffee mug also has more of the superheavy ones up to ununoctium (element 118), so there.

Scandium has a rocket beside it? I remember that one from school chemistry - my textbook said not much of it was made because nobody could figure out a use for it.
