Pictures

I'm having trouble getting this message through. This is the third time I've tried. I wonder where the other two went? Anyway, I've posted pictures of a small, table topper made before Christmas. Also, for those who are interested and have the time, I have a new album showing the pictures DH and I took on our recent trip to Austrailia and NZ.

I have seen your post show about 3 times Alice. I asked about the Tasmanian car numberplate.

Alice, the messages have been coming through. Don't know why you can't see them. I guess it's one of those computer mysteries we're not supposed to understand!

I really like your topper - I'm sure the recipients will treasure it.

Alice, did you design the Penn State flag? It is awesome. My daughter in law graduated from there and I would like to make one for her for next Christmas. Do you have a pattern or just make is as you go? I would appreciate any help if you would be generous enough to lend a hand. Thank you, Donna

Sorry to have posted so many times. I can see my message in your post, but it still doesn't show up as a new thread in my messages. The topper provided good space for practicing FM feathers.

I designed the PSU flag for friends to use at their tailgates. I made up the pattern myself, and ordered the fabric online...it's nylon flag fabric. Since the flag is one-sided, I fused the letters on and then machine appliqued around them. My biggest dilema was deciding whether to use the paw print with five toes, or the newer version with four toes!! Let me know if you have any further questions.

I've seen all your posts about your pictures, loved them - this sometimes happens to me and I think it may have something to do with a 'gateway' if that applies to this newsgroup.

"View" looks OK, but I'm still not seeing my original post. The replies come through just fine. I'll have to see if DH can figure something out.

The weather in NZ was cooler than most people expected, but I'd been watching it daily, so knew to bring a few warmer clothes. The trip across the Tasman sea was quite an experience....with 30 foot waves. All in all, a great trip to two beautiful countries with some of the friendliest people we've ever met.

I'm not familiar with Gateway, but I'm glad you enjoyed the pictures!

things fly around the internet thru various gateways, thru one, then another. the exact route varies continually. if you read any msg here, then right click on the line, then check propertys, then msg source tab. you can see on the top line the route that msg took to get to you. the first isp shown should be yours, then backwards to the last one on the line will be where the post was sent from....more or less that is the gist of the whole thing. we have no control over the route but sometimes for whoknowswhatreason, a msg will not make it back to you, even when you send it. weird but there you have it. if that makes much sense. j.

So pretty, Alice. I particularly love that shade of green and the yellow in the border really makes everything 'pop.' I bet it made for a very festive table!
