Pine burr pattern for paper piecing

I have been looking for this on line and can't find the one I want. There are at least 5 that are called Pine Burr but the one I want has the 4 large triangles pointing outwards with a sawtooth going down the outside of each triangle. I bought a pattern for this that just gave me the separate pieces. It's just going to be impossible for me to keep all those point tips unless I paper piece it. I tried enlarging a small picture that I had that came with the pattern but by the time I enlarged it 500% the sewing lines were almost 1/4 inch thick. Anyone have access or seen it? I found a class in Texas where they teach you how to make it, but no pattern available that I could see. Thanks/ Jennine Goldberg

When enlarging paper piecing patterns, sew on the outside edge of the lines and all will usually be well. Better yet, make a new tracing, tracing only on the outside edge of the lines with a mechanical pencil. Then make your copies from that tracing.

Is this the pattern you are looking for? If so, can you redraw the block to the size you want (probably using graph paper) and copy that for the foundation?

I think Karen Stone's pine burr pattern is like that. I can't go check right now. But her pattern is now included in a book/CD that is sold in several places online. Here's one.

i think this is the one you're look'n for, Jennine. page one says something about 'print to fit' when using the pdf file. says those blocks finish at 17 3/4 inch point to point. pretty big but you didnt mention what size you wanted. maybe reducing one of these is a better option for those lines. the sawtooth part is paper pieced here. the rest joined as usual. hope this helps. :) j.
