but I know the rest of you are going to read this. Today I wanted to quilt for hours and be kind to my back, front and assorted other parts including my feet that swell if I sit ( or stand) too long. Anyhow, since B'fly has foot troubles, I thought I'd report on my Bernina BSR tests. I don't specially like it. I'm a control freak. However. I was able to completely (and nicely) quilt a crib size quilt with: Look Ma, no hands! You have to give up control; if you move the fabric, the BSR stitches. Very evenly. I would rather be younger/stronger, and so say we all. OTOH, you can quilt with the Bernina BSR and prop your feet on a warm QI or whatever's available. Polly
