Hi, Could someone help me with a quilt pattern please. I am trying to find a pattern for a lap quilt. The pattern I am after is for a snowblock and lattice quilt.

Thanks Robyn

Now there's something I could not bring myself to do. All those empty blank snowballs? Mercy, no. I would be compelled to put big glorious roses or John Deere tractors or goggle-eyed sheep in the blanks. We would think subtle in just not in my repertoire. Polly

I did a snowball quilt with a wonderful large Japanese print that I could not bear to cut up into small pieces. The sashing was a little simpler than in this picture and it set off the fabric nicely. And at eight inch blocks the sewing was pretty quick! But for a small print I agree with Polly. Allison

I will try to describe what I am after. It is a snowball block with a square in a square and the sashing surrounds both to look like lattice. Not very good but hope it helps.

I think I know what you are after Robyn. If it is what I am thinking of I saw a pattern in an Australian quilting magazine, possibly in the early

2000's and very possibly APQ. I think it was done in greens and purples.

Thats really helpful I know but at the moment that is the best I can come up with.

I'm glad you found it Robyn. I only remember it because someone else was looking for it a few years ago and I had just read the magazine at a friends holiday house. No I don't have a good memory !
