In the current issue of WoodSmith No. 166 magazine, I found a quilt that I would love to make. My dh made the quilt rack, now I want the quilt too. I can pretty much make the pattern myself, except for the unusual "flying geese" they are deeper than the normal(?) 2 1/2 by 4 1/2 size. ImThis is a
9-patch(12" finished quilt square) with a 4-patch in the corners. I have never made this style(?)flying geese before, but Im thinking I can take a 5 1/2" square, 2-3" squares , start sewing about 1/4" to 1/2 " from bottom to the center, diagonally. I can play with this, but was thinking someone might have a better idea or know of a pattern I could find, free of course. LOL. I hope this makes sense if not please email me.- posted
