I thought that your dad was a sensible man. He knows the dangers of being careless in any part of his life now, so I'm sure he will be careful. Hopefully he and your mom will be able to cope for a good while yet. Tell them both that I said helloo when next you speak. RedQueen

No, his best tricks are pulling out in front of very large lorries, and somehow managing to pick up every granddad hater in the county on a single 5 minute journey into town - so we get to scream to a halt because someone else pushes in or overtakes because he's going at granddad speed on the back lanes! I don't trust his eyesight too much... He had a cataract removed a month or two back!
