Re: The FQ diet

Georg,

I might just join you on this diet as soon as I start getting a paycheck too!

Hi All, I'd love to join, but I'd only get about three fat quarters of fabric. I only weigh about 110 pounds.

So you would buy FQ's for maintaining your current weight? Each week you stay the same, you go buy a FQ?

Oh, and you don't have to rub it in! ;-)

No, you're on a different sort of diet. Everytime you slip up and buy more fabric, you have to send twice as much to somebody. You have my address.

Please tell me what a squishie is - I'm ignorant.

That sounds good to me.

If you are at your ideal weight, and your budget allows, you should buy two FQs for every week you stay stable.

Now, I thought this header meant that I had to stop buying FQ's! A torment too hard to bear!

If you breastfeed you get double the amount of weight loss in FQs.. because of the financial savings over formula alone! Diana

Larisa, I think you get a FQ for every pound you lose, plus 2 FQ for every pound the baby weighs, and FQ's for breast feeding, AND you should get a 5 FQ's for every hour your in labor :-) Karen Queen of the Sky

Oooh, jelly beans. I bought over a kg when I went to the US last (well, me and my two cousins) because they're so cheap! It's like £3 a teensy packet here that have about 20 beans in.

Okay, I get 3 FQs then! Make room at the FQ bin for me! Lots of weight to lose - do you think there are enough FQs? And I'm not calling any of my body parts FQs! Though they can be perceived as fat quarters! tee hee!

Peeps are marshmallow candies, usually in the shapes of ducks or bunnies, which are sold at Easter time. However, last Christmas, I saw some in the shapes of Christmas trees and Santas.

change in amount of FQs..as of today, I weigh 29 pounds more than I did before I got pregnant.....29 FQs would make a pretty decent size quilt if i just sewed the scrappy fashion.....got about 2.5 months left to go...wonder what the final amount will be .
