Re: Updating

Oh how very lovely, Sandy. The work is exquisite. I love the pebbling filler. Isn't Philippa Naylor a fabulous teacher! You've done her proud. . In message , Sandy writes

Beautiful, Sandy. Very beautiful. Back before the earth cooled and little girls wore pretty dresses, I did quite a bit of piping/cording. I learned on the very first one that cording made with cotton sort of string looking stuff can and will shrink. IF you're ever going to want to wash your piping/cording, it's a good idea to just go ahead and preshrink. I simply put it in the big pyrex measuring cup full of water and set it in the microwave to get nearly boiling. Then I drain and dump in some ice cubes. I figure that's about as brutal a pre-shrink as it's ever going to need. Polly

Howdy! How big do they make pyrex measuring cups? I could sure use some shrinking. The 4-cup I have isn't going to be any help at all, shrinking what needs to be shrinked...shrunken... .

Hey, Sandy, that's gorgeous!

You might have to search for it, but I think I've seen an 8 cup one.
